Watch the full feature below…

In this intimate face-to-face, Jacque Fresco shares with S.O.U.L. founder Evan Hirsch how he devoted his entire life to comprehensively designing a robust, workable tomorrow for our human family and planet. In this half-hour documentary, Jacque, who had just turned 101 years old, gives us a glimmer of hope as he describes the conditions needed for people to peacefully co-exist in a world without exploitation and abuse of one another. He lays out a bold new social design in which war and territorial disputes are things of the past, and where the true meaning of love and spirituality are manifested by translating them into a working reality. We also hear from Roxanne Meadows, co-founder of The Venus Project, and Jacque’s partner for over four decades, who is now at the helm of The Venus Project.

After watching this film, you may just feel you had sat with an extremely wise elder who, although facing the ravishes of old age, was determined to share what he feels is necessary for humanity to grow up in order for us to survive and thrive as a species. You will glimpse a portion of the work he accomplished in his lifetime, which gives us an alternative path for society to take, solving many of our monumental problems. He also spent his entire life as a teacher so others could understand the validity of this new social direction which benefits all of humanity. It is our hope that you will come away with this understanding and look into and work with The Venus Project as well.

As this passionate man obviously devoted his life to designing something much more nurturing, harmonious, and sustainable for our human family, it seems the least we can do for him, his legacy, and our future, is to see his designs move from conceptualization to realization.

The Venus Project Matching Pledge Drive
S.O.U.L. matches donations made to The Venus Project in conjunction with their film’s release.

The Venus Project, a non-profit organization, is making great strides in their designs for The Center for Resource Management, in which the public will get the opportunity to see how their “total systems approach” to culture, technology, construction, resource management, etc. can be a solution for so many of the challenges we face as a human family. In conjunction with the release of their documentary about The Venus Project, S.O.U.L. offered to match up to $50,000 donated to them in the month following its release. The fundraiser was a complete success, netting The Venus Project over $100,000 for their initiatives. Please join us in continuing to support this amazing effort by their vast array of volunteers to bring about Jacque and Roxanne’s vision of a world beyond politics, poverty, and war.

The Best Solution We Know

A well-conceived total system that provides for and nurtures all life on Earth.

S.O.U.L. Documentary endorses The Venus Project as the best plan (and hope!) we are aware of for humanity to at last thrive as one. Their concept of a Resource-Based Economy allows us to acknowledge that we are one human family, declare all of Earth’s resources the common heritage of us all, and support everyone to the best of our ability by employing intelligence with the most effective technologies.

The founders of The Venus Project have been hard at work for over 40 years developing the value system, education modules, physical plans, and so much more for this proposed future “beyond politics, poverty, and war”. Join us in supporting their mission of building The Center for Resource Management by learning more, volunteering if possible, donating if you have those resources, and promoting the concept with others.

“Earth is abundant with plentiful resources. Our practice of rationing resources through monetary control is irrelevant and counter-productive to our survival.”

– Jacque Fresco

“Today we have something that’s not a planned economy, and it’s total chaos. Most of the population does not have goods and services.”

S.O.U.L. visits with Jacque and Roxanne

Being big supporters of them, S.O.U.L. felt it was important to meet Jacque and Roxanne in person and experience their facility first hand. Following their sense of urgency, in March, 2017 (which turned out ot be two months before the passing of Jacque Fresco) we spent a few days at the Venus Project, learned so much, and were reinvigorated with inspiration for helping them bring the project to the next phase. Enjoy these photos of our visit.
